NEET Exam 2021: Crack it to Clear NEET

Almost all NEET aspirants find Physics to be the toughest of all subjects. As far as Physics is concerned, it has a variety of theories and numerical problems related to it. Even if you have a thorough knowledge of the same, unless you apply the concepts precisely at the spur of the moment, you won’t be able to crack it.

Also, dealing with physics will require a lot of concentration and patience as the questions are solved step by step. But once you start preparing smart, it will no longer be a nightmare. Here, you can find a detailed approach regarding the strategies to be followed in order to become strong in physics.

Focus on the Weightage of Each Section

The first and foremost way to start preparing for the exam is to be clear with the syllabus and the weightage of the chapters. The syllabus for physics includes topics from both classes 11 and 12. By knowing the weightage of the chapters, you will be able to get a clear picture of topics requiring priority and also the topics requiring the least importance.

Based on this approach, you will be able to focus on the key areas without wasting much time on undesirable. Also, this will help you identify the weaker areas and improve further.

Be Clear with the Concepts

As already mentioned, Physics requires implementing the right concept at the right moment. This can be acquired only if you learn physics with a conceptual approach. Topics such as mechanics, modern physics, current electricity and magnetism, semiconductors are those that are considered important as most of the concept-based questions are asked from these topics.

So, the right way to learn these concepts is to reading the theory, understanding the concept, and working out a number of problems based on those concepts. Once you attain clarity on the concepts, solving any problem will be a cakewalk.

Have Formulas on Your Fingertips

As you all know, nearly 80% of the MCQs will be numerical and involve complex calculations. Whenever you read a new chapter and come across a formula, make sure to note it down on a separate page.

Until you get a flow with these formulas, work on a number of problems based on that. You will not be able to apply the right formula to the right solution unless you have practiced applying them in different solutions. This will make you strong numerically and will be easier to revise each and every time.

Refer to the Right Study Material

Most NEET questions are based on the concepts covered in the NCERT books. So make sure you read every single line from the NCERT books. Once you complete reading a particular topic, try working out the practice session given at the end of each topic in the NCERT book.

Apart from that, books from the reputed publication house will give you a clear understanding of both theory and numerical problems. Also, you will get an idea of how the MCQs are framed based on those concepts.

Practice Regularly

Once you gain clarity with the concepts, formulas and theory, start practicing a lot of problems in the MCQ format. Working on the problems from the previous year’s question paper will be useful in gaining knowledge about the pattern in which the questions are framed.

Apart from that, try working on as many mock tests available on educational websites so that you get the confidence to face the exam without fear. In addition to that, you will get the speed to solve problems within the given duration.

To Wind Up

Following the strategies mentioned above, you will get in-depth knowledge of the exam pattern and know the difficulty level of the same. In addition to that, try solving the lengthy problems with the concept of approximation so as to save time and effort. So, what are you waiting for? Start preparing today and crack NEET with a phenomenal score.
