AFCAT 2 Exam 2023 Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: The age limit for the Flying branch is 20 to 24 years as of 1st July 2023. The age limit for the Technical and Ground Duty branches is 20 to 26 years as of 1st July 2023.
- Educational Qualification: The educational qualification varies for different branches. Here are the details:
- Flying Branch: Candidates should have a minimum of 60% marks in Class 12th with Physics and Mathematics and complete graduation with a minimum of 60% in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Technical Branch: Candidates should have a minimum of 60% marks in Class 12th with Physics and Mathematics and should have completed a 4-year degree course in Engineering/Technology from a recognized university.
- Ground Duty Branch (Administration and Logistics): Candidates should have completed a 3-year degree course with a minimum of 60% marks in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Ground Duty Branch (Accounts): Candidates should have completed a 3-year degree course with at least 60% marks in Commerce from a recognized university.
- Physical and Medical Standards: Candidates should meet the physical and medical standards specified by the Indian Air Force.
- Nationality: Candidates should be Indian citizens.

AFCAT 2 Exam Application form 2023:
AFCAT Exam 2023 applications will commence in the month of June’ 2023. The registration will be available online and students can choose their field as mentioned in the application form. Once the Applications are done, Students will be start receiving their Admit card for AFCAT 2 Exam 2023 in the month of July.

AFCAT Exam 2023 Exam Pattern
The exam pattern of the AFCAT exam is unique. It is recommended that students must thoroughly understand the exam pattern before preparing or appearing for the exam.
- Exam Mode: The AFCAT Exam 2023 will be conducted online mode.
- Exam Duration: The duration of the AFCAT Exam is two hours.
- Type of Questions: The AFCAT Exam consists of multiple-choice questions.
- Number of Papers: The AFCAT Exam consists of two papers, namely, General Knowledge, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, Verbal Ability, and Military Aptitude and Technical Knowledge.

- Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, three marks will be awarded. For each incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted. There is no negative marking for unattempted questions.
- Language: The AFCAT Exam will be conducted in English only.
- Syllabus: The syllabus for the AFCAT Exam includes topics such as General Knowledge, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, Verbal Ability, and Military Aptitude. For the Technical Branch, the syllabus also includes technical subjects related to the discipline.
