- To appear for the Class 10th board exams, the student must be enrolled in a recognized school affiliated with CBSE & will be eligible for compartment exam if failed!
- To appear for the Class 12th board exams, the student must have passed Class 10th from a recognized school affiliated with CBSE and will eventually be CBSE 12 Class Compartment Exam 2023.
- If you’re a private student you can do it online or if you dropped a year then go through LOC (List of Candidates) which is supposed to be filled by Schools.
- CBSE has started its application procedures through school admin, so students who failed in the last attempt can freshly enroll their names for the same and exams will be held with students appearing in regular exams.
CBSE Compartment Exam 2023 Exam Pattern:-
The Class 10th board exams are usually conducted in two parts:
- Theory exams: The theory exams are objective-type questions that are to be answered in 3 hours.
- Practical exams: The practical exams are conducted in schools and are based on the practical skills of the students in their respective subjects.
The Class 12th board exams are usually conducted in two parts:

- Class 10th CBSE exam dates 2023: 15th February 2023 to 21st March 2023
- Class 12th CBSE exam dates 2023: 15th February 2023 to 5th April 2023
- Class 10th and Class 12th CBSE Practical Exam Dates: 2nd January 2023 to 14th February 2023
- Exam Result dates: 22nd May’ 2023

CBSE Exam 2023 Exam Day Instructions:
- Arrive at the examination center at least 30 to 45 minutes before the reporting time indicated on the CBSE 2023 Class 10 & 12 Time Table.
- It is mandatory to bring your CBSE 2023 Admit Card. No admission will be granted to the exam hall without an Admit Card.
- The answer sheets and examination papers will be distributed 15 minutes before the exam. Students are encouraged to use this time to fill in the necessary information and familiarize themselves with the CBSE examination papers.
- No cheating materials are permitted in the exam hall.
