What’s next after Btech.. every student have this question in there minds in various types… some prepare for placements or for jobs in  many companies.. some of students decided to continue with studies. Those students who actually wants to go for PG courses,,, they should apply for GATE exams. 

GATE is basically :- graduate aptitude test in engineering(for mtech)

Itz an all india examination administed and conducted jointly by indian institute of science and seven  indian institute  of technology. Gate is conducted through constitute of eight zones. The zones and the corresponding administrative institute are :-

  1. zone-1: Indian Institute of science Bamgarotor
  2. zone-2: Indian Institute of Technology Bombay
  3. zone-3: Indian Institute of Technology Delhi
  4. zone-4: Indian  Institute of Technology Guwahatihnolo
  5. Zone-5: Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur
  6. Zone-6: Indian Institute of Technology kharagpur
  7. Zone-7: Indian Institute of Technology madras
  8. zone-8: Indian Institute of Technology roorkee
  • This examination serves all over the india in an single entrance exam for all under graduate students. The objective of this entrance exam is to identify skilled n well deserved students for studying in india’s best pg courses colleges or universities.
  • Gate conduct exam in each n every year..
  •  Forms for registering as candidate in Gate exam is available from date:-october 1st week
  • Submission date of registering forms are around:-november 1st week
  • Exam dates of GATE is :- febrary 2nd sunday
  • Results will be announced at sharp of march 15th
  • It contains an single paper for the duration of 3 hours and having 65 total number of questions which carries 100 marks at max.
