IIT JEE Main Exam 2019 is going to be conducted by the National Testing Agency instead of the Central Board of Secondary Education. This exam will be conducted twice a year (January and April) from now onwards. The whole exam will be in online mode only with no availability of offline mode.
Application Forms for IIT JEE Main 2019:
The JEE Main exam 2019 is going to be conducted in total 8 settings from 6th January to 20th January. The dates of issuing admit cards, availability of OMR sheets and answer key yet not released by NTA.
The mock test will be available from the month of August 2018. Application form for IIT JEE Exam January session to be available from 1st September and the final date to submit the complete form is 30th September. The result will be published in the first week of February. But the most important point is to appear in the IIT JEE Advanced exam 2019, candidates must have to qualify in JEE Main exam.
Steps for pursuing in JEE Main Exam 2019:
There are various steps to be followed for pursuing in IIT JEE Main Exam 2019. Before completing the application form candidates must know the eligibility criteria. The steps are given below.
Step 1, Registration: The candidates have to get registered with e-mail id, identification details especially Aadhaar number and phone number.
Step 2, Fill up the necessary details: Next fill up all the personal details, academic details, and contact details. Moreover, verify the phone number and e-mail id.
Step 3, Uploading documents: Candidates have to upload photographs of their own and signature of their guardian as well as self. Mention the name and date on which the photograph was taken. The dimension of the photo has to be 4 to 40 KB in JPEG/JPG format. The dimension of the signature of both must be 1 to 30 KB in JPEG/JPG format.
Step 4, Payment process: For paying, there is an online mode as well as offline mode too. To pay offline, download e-challan and deposit the payment at any branch of syndicate bank/ ICICI bank/ Canara Bank.
Application fees: For JEE Main paper I or II General/ OBC boys have to pay of Rs 1300 and girls have to pay of Rs 250 whereas SC/ST/PWD boys have to pay of Rs 650 and girls have to pay of Rs 250.
For JEE Main paper both I and II General/ OBC/SC/ST/PWD boys and girls both have to pay of Rs 650.
Step 5, slot booking: Then, therefore, candidates have to book a slot which will be on a first come first served basis.
Step 6, Print the acknowledgment: At last, take a print out of the acknowledgment and complete the submission process.
Although, it is not clear whether it will include the All India Rank or not. After publishing the result, shortlisted candidates will appear for counseling which will take place in the month of June. Allotment of seats for students through IIT JEE mains exams 2019 will be done on the basis of the candidates’ rank as well as the choices filled by him or her.
